Cocktail Couture, featuring Tango based DIVAS, is made of large and small cells of action, hand drawn and painted and takes place in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The film begins with a first painting that progresses through a metamorphosis with stage sets dropping down, stop motion and puppet like, until the characters are dressed for cocktails in Brooklyn. The paintings morph into cells of action in the film,expanding upon the cross disciplinary genre of dance and film. |
