The story is about WANG CHAO who graduated from a third-rate university. His nature is kind. Because he does not have the CET certification, an English certification that every Chinese university student should have, he can’t find a job. Out of desperation, he finds a small company that helps forge certificates. He receives a brainwashing education in this small company. He is told that as long as he can act(cheat), he can survive in the society. With the illegal certification, he finds a job. Without knowing it himself, Wang Chao starts a trip of cheating with his boss. They try to cheat Thomas, who is from a US funding company, a huge amount of money. Though it fails at last, Wang Chao seems to find a “shortcut” in this ridiculous society.
