After a string of bad dates, Joanna gets setup on a blind date with Adrian, an actor, who her friend describes as ‘different’. On their first date he comes off as an Englishman. On the next, he behaves like a pirate. Joanna is surprised but decides to go along and ends up having a lot of fun. Curious about his dual personality she calls up her friend who explains that Adrian suffers from a unique case of schizophrenia. When he plays a character he gets so deep into it that he starts living it. Their dates continue as they find love and solace in each other’s company. All is well till one date takes a cruel turn. Adrian, fresh off from playing a gangster, gets into an altercation at a restaurant during which he draws a gun. The incident fizzles out when it is revealed that it’s a prop gun but Joanna, now faced with the harsh truth of his condition forces herself apart from him. Not ready to let another relationship fail due to his uniqueness Adrian fights to make her fall for him again.
