Ari also created, produced, edited, and hosted the show This Is Not Happening that helped launch the careers of some of the comedians you know and love today. Ari was raised as an orthodox Jew. He went to seminary for two years in Jerusalem and only got out of the religion when he was in his 20s when he began thinking about his beliefs and was saddened and stunned to realize he didn't have any.
