He turned a man into a fool, and a game into a nightmare. A young couple leave the big city and move to an isolated island in an attempt to save their marriage, find their lives ridden with terror. The only other people on the seemingly peaceful island are their landlord, Alan Alda (M*A*S*H), who lives in a nearby house, and the deaf-mute who works for him. Originally Alda appears to be a gentle Vietnam veteran, but as the tension mounts he turns out to be a deranged man with two vicious Dobermans. Tony Award winning actress, Blythe Danner, stars as Heath Lamberts' beautiful wife, forced to fend off the crazed Alda. Alda turns in a fine performance in this psychological suspense-thriller, filmed by Academy Award winning cinematographer, Walter Lassally. Directed by George Bloomfield Produced by Teddy B. Sills (verbatim from the VHS box cover) Uploaded Nov 25, 2016
