Screamfest screens quality features and short films in competition at the TCL Chinese Theatre and is open to the general public. Regardless of the many acclaimed horror films such as THE EXORCIST, PSYCHO, ROSEMARY'S BABY,JAWS, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, THE OTHERS, THE RING and most recently GET OUT (99% Rotten Tomatoes rating), the horror genre still receives a negative connotation.The festival screens quality features&short films from around the world. Screamfest curates ten full nights and weekends of genre films giving filmmakers more of an opportunity to have their films programmed & seen.
