If you've watched the MST3K episode (913) you will know of this legendary movie and you will have wanted to see the original.
Sadly though it only existed on VHS and never made it to DVD.
I myself having watched the MST3K version, have been searching for years. Then one day struck I gold.
Here now then is David Warner, co starring with David Warner - along with some extras from the California Renaissance Pleasure Faire, in an adventure set in.... we're not quite sure when...or where for that matter of fact. Is it England, or Italy...or maybe Denmark with those soldiers wearing Viking helmets...
The story is about a young boy, freed from slavery and who turns out to be the one. (No not him, or Anakin, or Neo either) But he is the one who will find the lost storehouse of Archimedes. But this young boy loses his mentor, played by David Warner, when he is killed by his nemesis. Played by David Warner.
After this he goes to a tavern and bumps into Leonardo Da Vinci, who is taking a gap year. As well as one of the serving wenches, who turns out to be the sister of definitely-not-a-Robin-Hood character in the forest, but she is a Princess. Of the forest or something.
They then continue their search for Archimedes' ancient self storage locker with David Warner, but not David Warner, in pursuit.
