Finally got around to watching this, overall I liked it. I like Nicole Kidman but as someone else mentioned, her lack of facial expression brought it down a bit. And the actor who played Desi did an ok job but he didn’t the role. One thing I didn’t know is that William Frawley and Vivian Vance hated each other.

First episode was good… will watch more. I’m not getting the storyline of Vaugn and the sort-of girlfriend? It’s got to be something more than just adding a romance element to his character.

weirdest episode ever, didn’t like it

I didn’t know Taylor Swift was in this movie and that isn’t enough motivation to make me want to watch this movie.

most movies done based on comics or graphic novels rarely adhere or do justice to the source material. whether its done to make money or trying to grant fan service doesn’t really matter. in the end whether they are any good is subjective to the viewer. i tend to enjoy movies for what they are, rather than complain about what they could or should have been. sit back and enjoy the show, instead of being the show eh? pass the popcorn already.

You do realise that this is based off of a comic book right and that they only made one Watchmen comic book so if they want to do this franchise again which they do then they have to do the same story again and doing it in a two part movie does allow for the film to be more accurate to the comic book the what the 2009 Zack Snyder film was.

I love the character of the nun. Her, I will miss.

I’ve always been ‘Ruthless’. Never had a Ruth of my own. There was one who lived pretty close to me when I was a kid but I never really knew her. I knew her big brother Brian though and he was an @rse. Ruth seemed quite sweet to be honest. Maybe it would be quite nice to have a Ruth? I’ll probably never find out. I’m too old for that kind of thing these days.

I like Rick & Morty. I like anime. Why’s this so bad? I rate 2 of 5 Poopy Buttholes. It just doesn’t make sense as it’s far inferior to the original in every way. Maybe it’ll get better? I do not like reading subs while hearing Japanese noises. That’s for crazy people. I watch the English dub version. Pass the butter.

McConaughey is so nasty in this, he was brilliant, so is this film…

Yeah I know what you mean. It seems to of lost it’s impoteous and gone a bit off the rails, excuse the pun. I think partly it’s as the showrunner appears to of changed? Can feel the lower budget of the production.

For some odd reason, watching this made me think about 70s Krofft Saturday morning shows:H.R. Pufnstuf, Bugaloos, Lidsville, Sigmund & the Sea Monsters, Land of the Lost, and Electrawoman & Dynagirl etc.

This was quite entertainng. I disliked the original movie this was based on. Saw it in the theater & was totally confused by it. I even watched it decades later & it hadn’t aged well. I love Gilliam’s movies except for this one.

This is a fresh take on the movie & it is much more coherent. Love Waititi’s movies so I’m looking forward to watching the rest of this series.

Hilarious. Loved it. Was laughing through much of the movie. Very over the top teen comedy.

Like it or hate it. At least the series got an ending instead of just getting canceled.
