loosely based on oliver sacks, one of my fav humans, amazing work, great books and writing, such as ‘the man who mistook his wife for a hat’. his last book was an autobiography and was lovely. my fav story of his, cant remember what book, similar as in the show, was a man who had been in an accident, his mother comes in and he says, this woman looks like my mother but is not my mother! she’s an imposter! its called capgras syndrome

fun fact, he had visual hallucination of colours his whole life. didnt know he had face blindness though, same like dr. karl. :)

akin to carl rogers’ work, really empathic writing, trying to understand the human condition and help people at the same time.

another good one was a bit like a personal mandala effect.. he had distinct memories of being in the bombing of london, where actually it was his brother.

would be hard to sensationalise his work despite how wacky it all can be, he’s just so… idiosyncratically sensitive.. so maybe the show didnt quite come off. wasnt like house at all for me, had more of a seventh heaven vibe. or some kind of 90’s series.. like that show early edition - here’s a link just in case anyone missed that classic of cinema https://www.primewire.tf/tv/19258-early-edition

I am really surprised I never read any of his books. I went to his site and so many of them sound amazing. Thank you for that information. I too did not get a house vibe, it was totally different for me, sure he has some out of the box practices, but he is looking at the whole human to treat and not just the symptom. This type of treatment, regardless how off it can be is the best kind. Thanks again for the info.
