After he gets home from writing the paper with his landlords wife , you see him at the sink scrubbing crazy on a teflon pan it is obvious he never knew or seen anybody that had starch,cheese or egg buildup on a pan.
You just add cold water and a drop of soap stir and let it sit while doing the other things to clean and organize the apartment.
